Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy The Definitive Edition will be released in 2021 on the 11th of November for consoles and computers. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas The Definitive Edition is also scheduled to launch via Xbox Game Pass, although it’s unclear whether that only includes console or PC. Grand Theft Auto 3 – The Definitive Edition will be released through PlayStation Now, although that service isn’t accessible in India at the moment.
Rockstar announced the news with an in-game teaser that showcases the new visual improvements to the classic trilogy.
Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy India Price
Here’s the price GTA Trilogy: The Definitive Edition will cost in India for consoles and PCs:
- Rockstar Launcher (PC): Rs. 4,994
- PlayStation Store (PS4/PS5): Rs. 3,999
- Microsoft Store (Xbox One/Xbox Series X}S): Rs. 3,999
There aren’t any additional editions, either special or deluxe editions available for this game. The game will not be available on Steam this is a shame (and somewhat absurd) given that Rockstar has removed the original editions of the game from its storefront. The players who buy the trilogy through Rockstar Launcher by January 5 2022 will get 10% off any item priced at least $15 (regional prices haven’t been announced).
It will receive physical disc release on the 7th of December 2021.

It is expected that the PC version will have compatibility with Nvidia DLSS.
Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy The Definitive Edition will come with “GTA 5 inspired controls” resolution improvements, and “improved visual fidelity” over the first trilogy. This includes improved the locking-on and targeting options as well as updated radio and weapon stations, updated mini maps of the radio station, upgraded achievements, trophies and much more. It will also include trophies, achievements and more. Nintendo Switch version will also feature gyro-aiming, as the ability to zoom in on the touch screen pans and options.
